The Hardy Boys is a 1969 animimated series based on the Hardy Boys book series. In this series the boys use a band as a cover for solving mysteries. The series is notable for it's opening, and closing credits which were done in live action. The Hardy Boys broadcasted on ABC from September 6, 1969 to September 4, 1971, and was schedualed against the CBS broadcast of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, with the later coming out on top. The series lasted two seasons, with the second being repeats of the series 17 duel story episodes of 22 to 30 minutes each.
