The Huckleberry Hound Show is the second animated TV show (following The Ruff and Reddy Show) produced by Hanna-Barbera, and sponsored by Kellogg's. The show consisted of three segments; the first segment featuring Huckleberry Hound, the second Yogi Bear, and the third featuring Pixie and Dixie and Mr. Jinks. However, the Yogi Bear segment proved more popular then the Huckleberry Hound segments, which prompted the creation of The Yogi Bear Show. Hokey Wolf and Dinga Ling soon took Yogi's place on the show. The series became the first animated program to be honored with an Emmy Award in the year 1961. The Huckleberry Hound Show ran four seasons, airing 69 episodes from October 2, 1958 to April 24, 1962.
